Faculty consortium

The CACAIS 2024 Faculty Consortium will provide a professional development opportunity for faculty focusing on research, teaching, and service activities, including how to achieve balance in these activities and navigate the challenges of academia.

This one-day event (scheduled for June 6, 2024) is designed specifically for faculty to be oriented and prepared for the opportunities and challenges ahead. Participants will spend the day with a group of distinguished scholars and peer colleagues to get advice and share experiences. In particular, the overarching goals of the workshop are to provide faculty with advice on how to plan and manage their careers and to offer a platform for discussion and networking.

The Consortium will address various topics and related choices that academics have to make, including publication and networking strategies, recruitment and career planning, and work-life balance. The workshop format will be very interactive, making the day fruitful and enjoyable.

Participants will be required to register for this event (registration link coming soon) so that the organizing committee can provide them with the best possible experience.

Participants must hold a PhD and occupy a faculty position in an academic institution.
