Paper Development Workshop | Communications of the Association for Information Systems

Authors of accepted papers at CACAIS 2024 will have the opportunity to participate in a half-day, in-person paper development workshop that the co-editors-in-chief of the Communications of the Association for Information Systems will facilitate.
The aim of the round table workshop is for authors to present their research and learn about:

  • The types of papers published by the journal and common pitfalls that can result in a paper being rejected.
  • Using theory as a theoretical lens for your research and how it can advance understanding of research phenomena.
  • The types of contributions that your research could make to research and practice.
  • The potential implications of your research for IS research and practice.

Kindly note that papers presented/discussed during this workshop do not guarantee publication in the journal. All submissions made to the journal will go through a rigorous review process, and the final decision to accept papers will remain with the co-editors-in-chiefs.
